Ilse Sand is a psychotherapist, public speaker and author. She has spent her career counseling highly sensitive people first as a pastor under the Danish National Church and now as a psychotherapist. She holds a Master’s Degree in Theology from Aarhus University, where she focused on the work of Carl Jung and Søren Kierkegaard. Ilse’s journey began as a child in when her parents divorced, and she began seeing a therapist in order to work on herself and her feelings. It was in therapy that she first realized how talking about feelings on a deeper level can transform one’s way of experiencing the world, reduce shameful feelings, and result in a happier life. She now seeks to share that gift with others, especially highly sensitive people, not only through counseling but also through her courses, lectures, and books.
